How I Came to This Work
Art has always been my safe place — where my busy mind could slow down, and my frayed nervous system could soften. Long before I knew art therapy existed, I was using creativity to process pain, grief, anxiety, and life’s messiness.
Over time, creativity became my gentle medicine. Whether I was painting, dancing, baking, or crocheting, the act of making softened the noise in my mind and opened space to simply breathe.
I left the 9–5 world, opened a gallery, studied art therapy, and slowly began to shape a life around what I knew deep in my bones: art heals. Expression matters. And everyone has a creative spark worth rekindling.
Now, I help others return to themselves through the magic of making — guiding people back to their creativity, their stories, and the safety of self-expression.
This is my calling:
To help you feel seen, held, and alive — one scribble, one breath, one brave mark at a time.

Scribble Club
Scribble Club is a monthly creative membership for the part of you
that’s still scribbling her way home.
This is a space for soulful self-expression, gentle exploration, and messy magic — where your art doesn’t need to be perfect, just true.
Each month, you'll be guided through a fresh theme that helps you reconnect to your inner world — with an expressive art prompt, journal reflections, and a printable handout designed to spark your creativity and soothe your nervous system.
You’ll also be invited into a live circle: a cozy online space to be witnessed in your becoming. Bring your cup of tea, your stories, your scribbles — all of you is welcome here.
Whether you feel creatively blocked, emotionally stretched, or just craving connection, The Scribbled Self is your invitation to return to your centre — with colour, with honesty, and with a little bit of sparkle.
Let this be your monthly exhale.
A ritual.
A rhythm.
A soft, artful coming home.
“Let your hands speak the words your body has been holding.”

I’m so glad you’re here! xx
P.S. Why “Stovie”?
When I was born, my dad always joked that I might have been called “Stovepipe.” Whenever I asked what I would have been named, he’d grin and say, “Stovepipe of course.” After he passed, I wanted to honor that playful family memory. I always thought “Stovie” sounded pretty cool, so Stovie Creations was born — a loving nod to my late parents and the unique story behind my name.
